I promised I would look for any good news that I could find in Afghanistan, and I’ve managed to find a little. Way up in the northern part of the country, shown in red below, some good things may just be happening. Here is a wider scale map for reference of the major cities.
The northern alliance was fighting them when we got there 20 years ago. Is this a similar situation?
