On the Putin part, I'm not sure how much he's actually being told the truth. I'd imagine he's not an easy man to tell the truth to. 🤣 And the Generals can't NOT succeed OR they'll be fired/relieved and/or possibly killed. (Plus, Putin could harm their families, so Putin has tremendous leverage.)
