Welcome to The View from the Front. My name is Stan and this is the Aug. 31st edition. If you just happened to stumble by, let me say a quick word about what we’re doing here. For those who don’t know, my name is Stan R. Mitchell, and I’m a prior Marine and journalist.
FWIW - I like the cadence of your voice, and the use of space between words, in the podcasts. I then note a distinct change at the last 15min or so, when your cadence changes, because I assume it's less "rehearsed" and more spontaneous and you are more emotionally invested in what you are saying. It would be hard to capture that aspect in a transcript.
It's cool the way the Transcription tab will (most of the time) highlight the current word if you are listening to the podcast and watching the transcript. There do seem to be some gaps, glitches, but it's a great first shot at a nice publishing feature.
Podcast Episode 8-31-23.
