So I have to say I have little use for the statements of Sen Lindsey Graham, but if we are looking for well-trained F-16-capable pilots with spare time, maybe the Middle East comes to mind before we start thinking about US Citizen "retired F-16 pilots" (who are not already flying FEDEX jets) being shot down and held captive in Russia ? https://www.forbes.com/sites/pauliddon/2024/06/03/why-saudi-arabia-never-acquired-the-f-16/

Thanks for the comment!! And apology on the late reply. (Have had a lot of personal stuff going on.)

I honestly think they’d only fly over Ukrainian territory. That’s how I see it. Use them to shoot down missiles and Russian planes near the front.

And thanks for that great article on F-16s vs F-15s!! No doubt the F-15 is far superior. I think lack of opposition was one reason the Ukrainians wanted F-16s. Plus more of them worldwide and easier to get parts from Europe and elsewhere.

Yup, I've watched TopGun, I'm sure all F-16 pilots always follow the rules of engagement when the enemy is in sight :) I know what I would do, in an F-16 with AIM9X and various other armaments on board, with a mission to defend UKR.
